Following. I have the Ark flaps as many do, but they don't offer enough protection.

I got the Rough Country RPT2 running boards, they were an easy install about the right height and stick out just far enough to stop a low car door ding. A little pricey but they are simple and very solid plus when seen from the side blend in perfect.

Just ordered these for mine to replace the OEM tube steps. Hoping they can help with 3 things.

1) Helping my 5 foot 1 wife get into my truck.
2) Maybe help prevent door dings in parking lots.
3) Hopefully paired with my Rokblokz rally mud flaps, I can avoid rock chips on rear fenders.

I've got these as well and I am very pleased with them. Easy to install, great protection, and look great as well. I live on a gravel road and in 2500 miles have 0 rock pecks thus far. I also have the Canadian mud guards installed.
