Just ordered these for mine to replace the OEM tube steps. Hoping they can help with 3 things.I got the Rough Country RPT2 running boards, they were an easy install about the right height and stick out just far enough to stop a low car door ding. A little pricey but they are simple and very solid plus when seen from the side blend in perfect.
I've got these as well and I am very pleased with them. Easy to install, great protection, and look great as well. I live on a gravel road and in 2500 miles have 0 rock pecks thus far. I also have the Canadian mud guards installed.Just ordered these for mine to replace the OEM tube steps. Hoping they can help with 3 things.
1) Helping my 5 foot 1 wife get into my truck.
2) Maybe help prevent door dings in parking lots.
3) Hopefully paired with my Rokblokz rally mud flaps, I can avoid rock chips on rear fenders.
