@Adam I have found myself switching in and out of 4wd pretty consistanly on the highways in those conditions. Traction has not been an issue but I have had a few time that ice got me a little puckered. Mostly going 35+. I do run the 4wd on some dirt roads as this trucks rear gets squirrly at speed so I agree that some weight in the bed would be ideal.

Finally got to try out 4Hi on some back roads a little north of my house. Handled steep inclines like a champ. Stopped at a nature trail to grab a pic.

Dry pavement, never. If iā€™m on a dirt road for a while, wet or dry, I put it in 4hi just to let it run. Sometimes Iā€™ll even drop it to 4low for the same reason.
