Hit mostly unplowed roads from Kansas City MO to Lexington VA (a little over 1,000 miles due to a bunch of stops along the way, including St. Louis MO, Park City KY, and Beckley WV).

I had to scrape the snow and ice buildup every 150 miles or so, especially from the front wheel well. The front sensors (parking and cruise) would stop working after about 50 miles or so in the snow. It did not let up the entire time. It was a rough, white knuckle ride the whole way, but at least it kept me awake the whole time lol

I saw over 100 vehicles in ditches, on their side, upside down, etc. It was an insane trip I don't want to repeat any time soon.

Bit of snow in NY yesterday, followed by single digit temps. Truck Norris don't care.

No pics yet but in Central Ky we got a good bit and I went out right away to test it out. I did put 4 - 60lb sand bags in the back last week in preparation and that I believe helps a lot. Did have to switch back and forth between 4hi and 2wd a lot in the Sport. With stock tires it does fine especially for how mild our winters are I would not go any more aggressive into a snow tire.
Be careful carrying unsecured weight in the box. Wet sand freezes and becomes a missile in the event of a collision.

Have a friend that had a significant front end collision with precast concrete weight bolted down behind the wheel wells. 1 of those 150 lb weights ended up in the empty passenger seat of the other vehicle!
