Just wanted to express a big THANK YOU to this group.
I have a 2025 TRD Sport with the boulder (light grey)/black seats. I have been looking for a decent seat cover (my previous experience was Wet Okole for my Tundra and I really liked them, and got 10 years out of the set).
Through this forum, I noticed that the EKR leather covers were popular and well-reviewed, so I bit the bullet. Honestly, I would have never purchased leather/faux leather at this pricepoint because I would have expected to piss my money away. But, these certainly live up to the hype. They are really awesome. I installed the fronts tonight and it took about 30-40 min per seat, and that was taking my time. The process was easy to follow, using the below video posted by @Stymie. Even though it is a RAV4 in the video, the process for the fronts is identical to the Taco. If memory serves, the process is the same or nearly identical to my old Wet Okoles on the Tundra as well.
2nd shoutout to @Kielly. I initially ordered the fronts from EKR’s website for $199. About 5 minutes later, I read Kielly’s post that stressed that Amazon had EKR stock on Prime delivery. So I checked, and sure enough I got the whole set (front and rear) for $229 and next day delivery. EKR gave me a refund for the site order.
Long post, so I’ll wrap it up… The covers are awesome. Truly looks and feels like OEM leather. The seats are very much more comfortable because of the additional support and my seat heaters do work through the EKRs. I honestly couldn’t be happier and just wanted to say thanks to a few members in particular and the whole group. This place is a great space and resource.
