Spoke with my guy yesterday, they have six 2024 Tacomas on the lot. I reminded him I do want a Limited pearl white but I will not buy one with dash cam, spray in liner and protective paint film. He said they first to arrive are loaded up with stuff.

How can anyone buy a 24 Taco without driving it first? Here in PA, their isn’t a dealer that has a single Taco within a 200 mile radius of Pittsburgh. And if by chance they do, their mostly SR and SR5 trims. Hey Toyota, it’s now the 2nd week of April. Come out and tell us. Tired of hearing the words: Allocation, In The Build Process or my favorite, In Transit. Ugh …..

I'm sure you have your reasons for not wanting the add on's as they are expensive. Having a limited myself I think the dash cam is pretty nice because it is so totally integrated with the truck. No wires, no running wires to power locations, etc. Just get in and go. Some folks want 4k and rear coverage which I do understand however and $500 is alot to pay for 1080p front only coverage. Your paying for the integration and the fact that it's all covered for 3/36. The spray in bedliner is also very nice. The unsprayed inside of the Tacoma bed I think looks cheap. Slick black plastic on the sides, tailgate and bed make it look unfinished. Again some guys say I don't want that crap in my bed cause you can't ever get it out. Why would you want to do that? As for the protection film, well it's pretty lame coverage I have it but I don't love it.

They are adding this stuff at the port. The dealer has no say in the matter so I think you may be waiting awhile. Good luck!
