I think he's talking about the parking brake that kicks in automatically when you turn the truck off
I disabled that immediately, glad I could. All you have to do is hold down the parking brake button for like 30 seconds I think

I like that feature. One less thing to worry about when I get out of the truck. I always engage the parking brake anyways so it saves me a step.

I like that feature. One less thing to worry about when I get out of the truck. I always engage the parking brake anyways so it saves me a step.
Call me old school but the less the truck does on its own the better.
I stalled it in stop start traffic one time and didn't realize the parking brake engaged automatically for an embarrassingly long period of time. Since then it's been off. I typically engage it only when i park on an inclined surface, parking in gear is totally fine on flat ground
