DIY vehicle lighting upgrades can seem intimidating, but for 4th Gen Tacoma owners, it's a breeze! In this post, Lasfit shares how installing the T3-7443 LED bulb in the 2024 Toyota Tacoma is a walk in the park compared to the Toyota 4Runner.
Special thanks to Lasfit customer @dshanman24 for sharing his experience installing front turn signal lights on his 2023 Toyota 4Runner. He tackled the replacement from the bottom of the 4Runner. This required removing the bolts on the tire fender with an 8mm socket screwdriver to access the factory halogen bulb.
While this approach worked, it certainly requires some tools and a bit of effort.
But, good news for 4th Gen Tacoma owners—you won't need any additional tools or have to go through the tire fender! Simply pop the hood, locate the front turn signal bulb, twist and turn to remove it, and replace it with your new LED bulbs.
Even on the passenger side, you don’t need a screwdriver for the air cleaner inlet—just push out the four pop-out clips and you’re good to go!
It's a super easy, plug-and-play process with no tools required! For more details on installing the T3-7443 LED bulb, check out previous posts or the video below from Lasfit.

No tools are needed at all; on the passenger side, you only need to push the clips to remove the air inlet.
