Toyota App, driving report

So each day im learning more with truck, finally comfortable looking at app and navigateing it, suppose i have become obsessed
check my driving report, lol. Usually i get excellant, yesterday i got 2. Bad infractions lol………one, Harsh breaking, true, A damn deer ran in front of me.
The second was hard accelerate …..im crossing over another road and a guy comes around the bend fast, , so….it flew through the cross roads …pretty. Cool feature,however it doesnt account for these moves like a deer, or oncoming car….i find it funny

More important with the app is if you let someone borrow your truck, you can determine whether you ever let them use it again just by looking at how they drove it.

How's that new truck treating you?

I'd love to see trip mpg there as well. I often miss it after I turn off the engine. I submitted that feedback in the app.

Go to your Toyota App. Bottom right corner hit the find button. Scroll down and hit the button for "Drive Pulse & Tips". This is part of Toyota Drive Connect. It is a paid service. Some trucks come with free access for limited time.

Under Profile (top right of app), then Account, there's a section called Data Privacy Portal. I have Drive Pulse turned on but Insure Connect turned off, so at least in theory, Toyota is not allowed to share my data with insurers.

This is part of Toyota Drive Connect. It is a paid service. Some trucks come with free access for limited time.

Yeah, it's a nice to have, kinda fun, but not something that I think is worth paying for.

First connection and setup of the truck, I was asked if I wanted the Insure Connect enabled. Salesman was good about pointing that out to me at delivery.
