I think they must have severe parts shortages on the hybrid models. I imagine if they could deliver more they'd be selling a lot more of them.

Whatever issues Toyota is having with the production of the hybrid trims is definitely hurting the arrival date of the Trail Hunter and TRD PRO models nationwide. Too bad Toyota isn’t really letting us know exactly what’s going on or at least communicating with dealers to forward information to the customers. Hopefully it’s nothing too major and just a software update like someone had mentioned. Time will tell.

Title. Paltry numbers, Toyota. Are they really 2024 year models...?

"...Available in the spring of '24...!" 👌🏽

EDIT: corporate release doc attached 🤙🏽
Nice find. Only 217? 100% agree with you too kinda ridiculous of Toyota to tout the hybrid tacoma models to be available of spring 2024… only to have 217 sold as of July. I’d be willing to bet most of those hybrid models sold were not Trail Hunters or TRD PRO’s.

They sold ~3,500 Land Cruisers YTD... IDK if parts are to blame, really shitty performance coming out of Mexico & Toyota N.A. as a whole IMO. The LC made in Japan, shares similar parts as the hybrid tacomas, esp the halos

A lot of you are looking for answers where there are none.

they sold 17,000 in may without any hybrids. June will be even higher with almost no hybrids.

they simply aren’t ready. Toyota isn’t the first manufacturer to not hit a deadline.

Toyota isn't lying, hybrids are available....to put a deposit on and received at a time to be determined.

H1 is Jan-Jun and really hybrids only started showing up in Jun in any sort of number. I'm not too surprised. Now if we go the rest of the year and they've only sold 450.......

June sales are down. (borrowed from TW)
