Yeah, I wonder about the same thing with my Pro. Although I have gotten higher mileage than that, it is probably very close to my highway average. When I drive it on the curves and hills of the Appalachian mountains where I live, with long grades that let it run on battery, I can get over 20 mpg. But just straight highway without any real chance for the hybrid system helping much, I never get over 18 mpg.That’s essentially my setup minus the tires and I got 17.5 l / 100 km (13.4 mpg) on my last 850 km of highway driving. Makes me think something’s wrong with my truck.
I also thought there was something wrong with my truck, but I am starting to think that it might be normal for these trucks. Highways have never been where hybrids shine, and our trucks seem to prove that.
