I've seen a lot of folks buying the method 703s, which I'm also planning to get, run a 35mm offset on non-Trailhunter models. I'm not aware of any Trailhunter running this setup though, and I'm tossing up between zero mm and 35mm offset with the ko3s or wildpeaks.

I realize I can get a test fit, but wanted to see if anyone had firsthand experience and can report the best offset for no rubbing or trimming on a TH.

Trail Hunter is +20. +20 to +35 seems to be the sweet spot for the best fitment of larger tires. 0 your pushing the wheel out further and will more likely have problems. 285/70R17 will most likely still fit with 0 offset? But there will be alot of poke! Factory TRD OR is +55.

Thanks for confirming the stock TH offset.

I hope I'll hear from folks that have actually tried a +35 on a TH with this tire and can report good fitness.

I found this video very relevant (TH with method wheels & 35in tires) helpful but I haven’t yet made the purchase:

Method 703 with Falken Wildpeak AT4/W 285/70/r17 running on my TH.. Only have a couple of hundred miles on them so far, so not even broken in. OEM taken off at 495 miles and trying to sell them now.. Works well, havent had any rubbing and seems to fit about the same as originals.

Oh this is super helpful. I may be buying a second set of wheels for when I’m in the city - so I can get some standard load tires in this size (the same Falkens) - so method 703 with +35 offset here? Do they offer +30? I may want an itty bit of poke.

I've recently installed the +35mm offset and there is no poke. Maybe a little less than stock actually. No rubbing or cutting required.

I think the 703s come in -22, 0, +35.

Gotcha. I would prefer something like +25 or +30 unless I got super wide tires like a 35x12.5
