I'm assuming your dealer had zero additional information? When you say eta sometime in August, was that based on the original expected delivery (pre-QC hold)?aaaaaaaaand my TH is one of the trucks on QC hold.

ETA, some time in August. I put a deposit on it last August 19th... it's been a long wait.
Better be worth it.
My guy at Toyota didn't have anything new to add that we don't already know from these forums, other than to tell me his Highlander has also been on QC hold lolI'm assuming your dealer had zero additional information? His "probably a month" I'm assuming is a shot in the dark guess. I'll text my dealer and let you know if he has anything knew to add or additional info. I know it says check back every Friday on the screenshot you and I both have, I just wonder if they have any other back channel way of getting any info from someone in Toyota. My guy at Toyota didn't have anything new to add that we don't already know from these forums, other than to tell me his Highlander has also been on QC hold lol
He said "probably a month" but he'd call me every Friday with an update, and he was hopeful it would be quicker than a month.
Listen, I agree... I'd rather they fix an issue NOW, while I still have my trade-in, than to take delivery and either wait a month on a part, or worse, be unable to drive it because of a safety issue. I don't want the headache of a loaner or rental...The top of the pipeline page says "vehicle delayed for 30 days". I truly hope this isn't the case. If there's an actual issue with these trucks, then I'd rather wait. But it's so hard when we've waited so long to get them.
Not that I want to put more miles on my trade-in (just broke 100,000 miles yesterday) but I'm in.If not, we should all take a trip to Laredo and see what's up![]()
