Yeah makes more sense. They will maybe come out with a list of symptoms that lead up to the failure. I think us members already gathered a good data list on that though now we wait to see if Toyota agrees or acknowledges itI think that they will always have to replace the entire assembly once the solenoids have failed. At that point there is probably too much junk circulating in the system to make a repair impossible.
Maybe they can come up with a way to diagnose what is going on before the solenoids fail. That would help Toyota and make current owners feel better too.
