TRD Pro folks, have any of you tested all 3 zone/settings and what are your QS3 shocks set to for road driving?

I'm presently at 1 on all four wheels. EDIT: QS3 manual linked below. I love the lack of sway/sag but am surprised how rough the ride is. I feel every crack in the road, more-so than my 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 which is pretty stiff, has active suspension and is always driven in Sport+ (lowest, stiffest setting).

Tires at 32PSI and ISODynamic vertical unlocked to compensate. Vert
@ 95psi, I weigh ~163lbs. I'm wondering if this is tire/sidewall related as I have PS4 rubber bands on the 718, and get less transfer..

Cheers,
J

The best feeling I’ve gotten is setting 1 on suspension and basically the lowest psi vertical and horizontal, I’m 6’4” 245lbs and it’s comfy, I do wish the suspension was more plush though , my Subaru outback and my dads E53 feel much softer, but those aren’t trucks

What?

1 is the softest setting… 3 is the stiffest.

Wheres your tire pressure at?

1 is the softest and 3 is stiffest correct, my tires are at 35psi, I could run 32 but I was doing a test to see if the small change was negligible for fuel mileage

My truck came set to 2 and it is so comfortable that I haven't even tried setting 1 yet. But I'm a long time truck owner and I like a firm suspension in all my vehicles anyway, so your mileage may vary.

But from my POV the Pro has a plush ride considering it is a high performance off road truck, and if it was softer it would feel like a Ford, which is not my thing.

Would this be 1 or 3?

Ahh, external post:
"The adjusters is on the bottom of both the front and rear shocks and has 3 settings; Zone #1, Zone #2 and Zone #3. Zone #1 is what the Pro model comes off the factory floor at, a setting meant for appropriate on road characteristics. Zone #2 is meant for fire roads, moderate off roading and a bit of a softer ride. Zone #3 is the setting made for high speed desert running which really maximizes the ability of the shock's performance.

However, I watched a YouTube video review from Chloe Kuo, here, where the Toyota instructor states just the opposite from Sheldon where 1 is off-road and 3 is for on road. This is stated at the 4:49 mark of the video."

Oh jeez, yes I'm am in the softest:
Yep - you would like either of the firmer setting even less.

I checked mine just now and they all came from my dealer set to "2", except for the right rear which was already at "1". Now they are at 1 and it will be interesting to see how much that changes the ride.

Let us know if it feels much softer…

OK - here is what I found this morning after about 40 miles on interstate and two lane highways, half with nothing in the bed and half with a moderate load.

With the QS3's set to "1" the ride is a little smoother, mostly because it reduces impacts from the road a bit. But for me there is a downside, because "1" made the body of my truck less well controlled and a bit floaty. In fact it felt a lot like my Tundra Off-Road with Bilsteins.

I am used to driving trucks with upgraded suspensions and sports cars/sports sedans with a lot of body control, so my truck is already back at "2". You can get your Pro to ride a bit cushier but at a price and I'm glad we have that choice.
