Hello guys!

Great community here!

Looking into buying a TRD Pro but for inventory reasons am not able to test drive one.

Issue is a family member has a stock 2020 Tacoma Sport with the OEM blue shocks 4x2 and the truck rides very very stiff especially on small imperfections on the road that rattle the whole interior.

Anyone happens to know if this new gen Tacoma in TRD Pro trim is much softer and has less rattles?

Thanks!

I have my shocks set at the softest level and they’re perfect. I come from a Gen 3 OR with the stock bilsteins. It’s rides a lot better than my OR.

My Pro suspension is set to the middle setting and the ride suits me really well. It is firm and controlled but I never find it to be harsh at all. I have one softer setting to try, like @Wighty is using, but it is smooth enough that I haven't gotten around to it yet.

It rides and handles like a luxury sedan compared to the Off-Road Tundra I owned before getting my TRD Pro. It is the most comfortable and best handling pickup I have ever driven!

I have my shocks all on the softest setting but I wish I could get the rear softer, I live in a neighbourhood with speed humps and my trd sport and subaru outback used to go over them like butter at 50-60kmh
