TRD Sport spare tire wheel size?

Well, that's very interesting. Thanks for posting. My Sport has the 17" spare. Wonder why some have 18" and some have 17" What's Toyota's reasoning with the spare, Sport vs. Trailhunter when the OEM wheels on both trucks are 18" ?

Trailhunters and Pros use 265/70R18 where as Sport and Hybrid OR use 265/65R18. I think it’s too hard if not impossible to get a 17” to equal the height of a 265/70R18 while using 245 so they use a 18” wheel as a spare.

I'm plan on getting new tires for the TRD sport in 265/70r18 size.. so which spare tire size would yall recommend to get??

Find an 18” take off wheel to use as the spare so you can get a full size spare.

Enough of these trucks are on the road by now so it should be pretty easy to find a single wheel.
