Trim Issue Around Air Vent

I noticed today that the trim surrounding the air vent in the center has a sticky residue. I tried using goo gone initially which I thought was working but noticed that it just made it seem like it was peeling? I tried armor all afterwards, and it restored the smooth texture but I wanted to check in to see if anyone else had something similar happen to them. There’s been nothing applied to the area prior to the goo gone.

The truck had a sticker in the middle of the screen. If you have the 8in screen it may be close to the same size as that area.

yeah, mine had a sticker there that said you are being watched, listened to, and your driving habits monitored… more or less.

it is easy to see how that sticker could have been peeled off leaving the sticky residue behind.

Is this still present even in the 13in screens also?
