Ok, So I mesured my 4G and a buddy's 3G . Measurements are inside bed to inside at the top and taken at front near cab and at tailgate.

At Tailgate: 4G is 56.5" and 3G is 56.75" so G3 is .25" wider.
At Cab: 4G is 57.5" and 3G is 56.5" so 4G is 1" wider

would that 1" at the cab make the 3G covers not fit?

Maybe the side rails (see photo below) have enough overlap to cover the larger gap at the cab. I could see that if it was the other way around (4G being smaller than 3G), it would be a real problem.

Diamondback is about 5 weeks. My HD still looks new after 3 years.

I have been looking pretty hard at the DiamondBack HD. Do you feel like it is worth the money?

Yes. Likely the most secure cover made and also dry. My 3 year old cover looks new.

Got the syneticusa cover. I would not suggest you get it. They didn't change it and have one one size for all tocama generations. So don't use truck2go for it get it from someone who actually took the time to make a new version for the 24.

I have been looking pretty hard at the DiamondBack HD. Do you feel like it is worth the money?

For the DB HD, the tailgate panel is apparently 6” shorter than the cab panel which does not make sense to me (according to website). Can anyone confirm ?
