I recently purchased and installed the victory 4 x 4 dash mount that gets installed behind the media screen. It allows you to mount radios and other devices to it. It also came with a USB input for charging devices, but the other end of the cable are two male USB Plugs. Does anyone have any knowledge on where I could plug these into inside the head unit? I’m not very savvy with electrical work, so pretend like you’re describing it to a 10-year-old.

So you have some options. Kinda depending on what are you planning to power with those USBs?

One easy option is to take something like this (https://a.co/d/1lVJWFE) and run it behind the stereo and down to the USB C port in front of the shifter (or just to that one on the side of the head unit) or to a 12v accessory to USB plug (https://a.co/d/13ZQFP6) you'd have to find a way to route the cord out of the dash, but it doesn't involve any wiring.

For a more advanced option, wiring this (https://a.co/d/ai6EQ5u) to the battery with a fuse and plugging those USBs into it behind the dash gives you an "always on" source of power. I would use this for charging my devices in camp without having to turn the acc power on.

Or I think we have a source for a plastic plug to go in the hole if you don't need the USB functionality.

Pretty nice unit. I need to use a CB Radio when we are racing, looks like a great way to mount it. Went to Victory's site but was unable to locate what you have here. Can you give a link.
Thanks, Chris

Just wondering if you know of a 12v to usb plug that would do QC 3.0 fast charging? The one cited above does not but would work. Taco Dave above and I are both thinking of wiring one as always on and one as ignition fired. Could use two separate single converters...

Yes, weirdly it's hard to find a dual QC 3.0 convertor, so you may need to run two anyway. You can use this one for the QC, and there is a single USB A option on the same page.

Also this will fit in our panel.

I bought one of these and am waiting for it to ship. I, too will be considering ways to power that USB port. I ordered some Ram mount components to use for mounting a mobile radio face plate, GoPro, and phone holder. The adventure continues!

You cannot just plug them in behind the dash. There are some USB step-down hardwire kits you can purchase on Amazon. If you wire into a 12v system then you must adjust the voltage to what USB uses, in addition to having a USB connection for your plugs to go into. In my case, if I hardwire, a professional will do it. I am lucky enough to have a local company that customizes police cars to do mods like this.
