replaced rear brakes at 36,000. Toyota said they were down to 3mm and offered to change them for $300+ ha.
And replaced driver side wiper for $34, damn.

So warm at night I didn’t need to use the diesel heater I installed but definitely gave the transport cap that I modified a great test run in Cane Kreek - ridiculous washboard roads for 15 mi + some moderate to light wheeling. Not a drop or whiff of diesel system is tight. I call that a victory for future trips…

First oil change, started installing icon 600 extra lbs springs. Had some issues with that, but I think I’ve figured out where I went wrong. Will finish it tomorrow.

Installed BuiltRight Industries seatback molle panels. Did the passenger side last week and driver seat yesterday. A few pics of driver side are attached. Love being organized inside the truck!

My rant didn’t post after two tries.
BuiltRight has awful customer service. No instructions for 4G Tacoma so my hands bled as they got cut up discovering what not to do. I asked them multiple times for help over a few months. Gave them lots of leeway figuring small company, let them catch their breath. No response.

I’ve got other BuiltRight items to install, with one being defective but they want me to fix. Bolt holes on the hitch mount holder are boogered up with powdercoat or trimmings not removed. Bolt won’t go in. Boogers won’t come out.
BR requires me to buy a tap-thread fix-it tool to fix their defective brand new part. They blamed it on the painter instead of their quality process.
They should have processed a return and shipped me a working part.
Especially since that brought my total purchases to over $1K. That small U.S. business needs to grow up and honor its guarantees and warranty. I like the products, but it’s highly unlikely I’d buy their products again.

Bought Genuine 2025 Tacoma & 2025 4Runner Red Front Tow Hooks from McGrath Elmhurst Toyota and arriving today installed in 5 minutes. I don't really need them as I have big-honking steel shackles but I just like the look.

Roughly 800 lbs. load from Lowe's, 35 miles away.

Also got the Continental DWS 06's on the Camry today with factory 18's. Put the 16 steelies with WS-90's away.

I removed the TVD vinyls off my from emblem because I got a rock chip, which turned into taking off my peeling yellow 3M vinyl from my lightbar and fogs, which I’m going to cut new for and re apply

I think TVD will replace the vinyl for free though Edit: full replacement coming in the mail
