I am asking Because I am considering removing the start relay when parking in public places for long periods of time.

I already looked in the manual.

Also is a special tool required for pulling the relay?

And can this cause any problems?

Do you have to disconnect the negative side of the battery first?

Thanks

I wouldn’t do that, put a switch on the relay and hide the switch, removing and reinstalling a relay all the time will wear out the terminals and then you’ll end up with a relay that makes intermittent contact. a relay is simply not designed to be removed and installed over and over, it’ll be the beginning of your worst nightmare.

Thank you for the advice. I was thinking about installing what is called a drop in kill switch as I don't know how to wire one in.
