My 2024 OR Tacoma when first started sends a white vapor or smoke out of the exhaust.
Last about 15 seconds or so.

is this normal?

That's the problem of having the tail pipe on the drivers side. We see stuff we wouldn't normally see.

It looks just like my wife's turbocharged late model German car. Some mornings with cooler weather arriving I've seen that. Nothing unusual when warmed up and no oil consumption standing out for the Tacoma or that car.

If someone thinks there's a definite problem, watch for unusual oil and fuel consumption.

Depending on ambient temps, you’ll get a few seconds of condensation exiting the tailpipe, which is normal and unconcerning.

However, actual white smoke would denote that there is engine coolant in the combustion chamber, usually from a deteriorating head gasket.

White Smoke=Coolant
Blue Smoke =Oil
Black Smoke =Unburned Fuel

Guessing I won't notice on TH since the exhaust exits beneath the vehicle.
