Will leaving the gatedown for more than 24 hours drain battery ?? I have a tacoma 2025 off road planing to take it camping but im considering on leaving tailgate open for 24 hours just dont know if it will affect the batteries life .

Anyone help .

I think the OP has a legitimate concern as on my off-road, when I leave the tailgate down, the Speedo cluster stays illuminated with the tailgate shown in red as it’s open. Same thing goes for the hood. Not sure how long it’ll stay on but mine was on for over an hour before I was done with my repair.

As long as you're bed lights aren't on the whole time i don't see it being an issue.

I've never noticed the dash being lit up while it's down, going to have to test this tomorrow.
