Wiring up a dcdc alternator charger in a hybrid

Hey folks! Trying to get a grasp on my owners manual. I have an etaker F1000 (comparable to the eco flow alternator charger) and I’m trying to figure out if this is a wire to the battery under the hood or under the rear seat situation in the hybrids. I’m currently thumbing through my manual to see what it says, but I’m curious if anyone has hooked one of these up on a hybrid yet. Thx in advance.

also if anyone has a digital pdf of the hybrid owners manual ummmmm can I DM you my email because I would love to be able to search this thing with keywords from my phone or iPad while working on it.
