I'm not going to lie, being part of team Trailhunter this got me excited! Nice to see some fresh material of them actually doing stuff with the Trailhunter. The video admin posted of the Pro was sweet as well. You can see it ripping around and start to visualize what that hybrid power might be like.

Makes me want want even more
Me too. It’s going to be a sick truck. I love my second gen, but I couldn’t be more excited about giving the TH a new home in my garage. I’m just hoping I get one with the first allotment at my dealer. Or soon after.

Closer to the rollout. So probably April unless it gets pushed back.

Overall I believe I'll wait for the hybrid prices, imagining another 4 grand on the off-road.

87 octane, reasonable fuel mileage, 33s from the factory and gobs of hp/torque.

I can live with the premium price tag over the competition knowing it's a Toyota.

This is going to be interesting. If a TH or PRO is pushing $65K, then even a GX550 or LandCruiser is going to come into play. Although I'd rather have truck, $65K for a mid-sized truck is pushing the limits on what I will pay. Watch Toyota set the price at $64,999...LOL.

A TRD OR premium w/ sway bar disconnect is already $55k, hybrid will bring it up to $59-60k. Now add ARB rear bumper, ARB bed rack, rock rails, raised air intake, front light bar, OME suspension bits, etc. $65k is starting to sound like a conservative guess, don't forget to option your ARB fridge either.

The Land cruiser comes standard with the same hybrid powertrain but with full time 4wd. It starts at $55k optioned similarly to a base TRD OR hybrid for probably ~$5k difference. I would imagine a lot of Toyota hybrid 4wd buyers will be cross shopping the 2 and will probably just come down to preference and availability.
