I'm excited for the hybrid, but I'm gonna miss the classic starter noise and fan roar on startup of the old gens. You can always tell when a Toyota truck fires right up.

My inner 12 year old is EXTREMELY happy about the turbo / blow-off noise from the turbo.

IDK when exactly Toyota remembered how to have fun, but they're on a roll lately.

The trailhunter might have the most turbo'ey turbo noise of any mass produced modern vehicle.

I will never get tired if it.

If I ever get mine I will get to experience that sound for real…

That snorkel gonna be cool for the first week and that’s about it till you hate it
Had it for a couple weeks now. It never gets old.

The blow-off stutter sound doesn't present itself on the TRD offroad hybrid... I can't imagine it only happens with that snorkel since it's irrelevant to the blow-off valve. So why the difference in our sounds?
