So far a load of wood, all my campsites furniture, and even hooked up my camper (4500ish lbs) to see how she'd sag as a last minute, 5 drinks deep kinda thought

Another load of wood tomorrow!

She did not like the wood last time, super bouncy and it was a little windy so it was not a fun 2:30h drive, now I gotta do it all again tomorrow with no cruise control

I know interesting lol. I been going to a lot of track days in my Camaro, and wanted something “cheaper” and the ability to have a truck to take me further out. So there came the trailer, the Miata.. then the truck

It’s nice to see trucks doing truck things. I don’t have a 4th gen yet as none have made it to Alaska, but they’re on their way.

It is tempting to wait for the 2025 just so I can say my first one lasted 40 years. My ‘85 is my daily driver and I will haul anything I can stuff in the bed. (The reason I want a 6’ bed)

First load with the new truck- a massive sectional sofa.
It didn't fit up my stairs, but it fit fine in the truck

I didn’t take a pic but I will next time. Had to deliver a 55 gallon drum up def and 400lbs of oil dry. It didn’t even feel like it was loaded other than the back squatting a bit. Such a big difference from my 3rd gen, I did have the base 4 cylinder though.

Some older loads with 2016 SR...

Not sure how much the pallet of mulch weighed...

Lawnmower was about 500 lbs., 42-inch deck, fits nicely with a 6-foot bed...

Water load was 121 gallons of water, 20 to 23 times a year on to the land before the house was built...

The 2 Green Mountain Sugar Maples root balls was over 1 ton, oh well, made it nearly 2-hour ride from the tree farm...

Nothing big. 9ft trailer not including tongue. Roughly only 1300lbs but it drove like there was nothing attached, and gas milage was the same as not pulling anything, I've done this 2 hour drive a dozen times now with this truck.

Breaking was definitely a little sketchy, no trailer brake on the trailer.

Not sure if a load of wood roof height or this trailer is more heavier but I have to say with both loads I never noticed much of a lack of anything powertrain wise and fuel milage was unchanged.

Bonus photo, if you want to stop people from riding your ass drive around with 10ft lumber in your 4ft box

Went down to Texas A&M to grab a load of things for my son, who finished up his first year this week. I have the spray in liner but glad I also have the bed mat!
