I have been wanting the OEM aluminum running boards and was waiting for Black Friday also.

I wound up finding them two weeks ago at a really good price here: https://www.oemgenuineparts.com/

I wound up ordering them and they came last Monday. Installed them by myself in about 45 minutes and I couldn’t be happier. I definitely recommend them.

I’m in New Jersey and they’re in SC so the shipping was really cheap considering the size and weight. I see you’re in MA so shipping to you shouldn’t be bad either.

TOyota’s site sucks so bad. I put in my year and truck info and it replied with 50+ pages of unsorted parts. I search for skid plate, nope doesn’t find it. Search for TRD, again with my vehicle details listed and it shows 10 pages of TRD for everything they make. Ugh. Their web and database folks need to be fired.

I found the part number, but apparently Toyota isn’t selling the TRD Front Skid Plate and directs you to your local dealer. Laughably bad service.

Way to suck! Toyota. 25% off isn’t worth the aggravation of dealing with their website. I give up.

Thanks for the link. I ended up ordering from Sparks Parts. They currently have a discount code for $100 off shipping which brought the total to $964.36.

I usually google the part number and browse the sites and go for the one that will get it to my front door the cheapest (Most of the time).

As mentioned before, if you can find a local dealer and avoid shipping it is worth it. I can get a heritage grill for 211 vs 263+shipping through those sites with the 25% off coupon.

I purchased the TRD pro grille to switch out on my TRD sport for the look and I also want to eventually add a light bar. I got an email today saying my vin didn’t match the part and they couldn’t fulfill the order. I emailed back saying I am wanting to install the heritage grille on my sport and know it was not made for the sport. I’m hoping they’ll allow the order to go through. If not I may just try ordering from another dealership and either not including my VIN or trying to find a TRD pro VIN and just put that one in there to say it’s mine so I can order it?

I wanted to do the same thing. I tried to order the TRD pro grill through the dealership. They said that there’s a lot of differentiation between the mounting points, wiring, etc. And they said they didn’t actually think it would work For my Tacoma. I have the TRD off-road. ?? They’re simply not gonna order it for me. I will have to try and do it myself. I guess the light bar is the sticking point, but I really have no idea. Best of luck to you in your quest.
