Found a quick fix for the annoying window rattle when its cracked an inch or so. Pop the cover off and toss in some stick on foam strips where ive got the rubber spread with my finger. Puts a slight pressure against the window and stops the rattling. Trim cover pops off by hand.

I'm gonna try this... Thanks for the help... Sucks on such a new truck... What is the actual problem causing this... Window rubber not tight enough? Have you taken to the dealer yet?

Seems like just that, the window rubber has some play. I have not been to the dealer.

I see alot of talk about this rattle, and I personally see it like this:
Every vehicle has the potential for rattles. Its an unavoidable reality with pieced together machinery. Even exotic super cars and luxury cars are subject to these rattles. Every dealer, including the luxury and exotic dealers, have some form of "shake and rattle kits" for their service department. Those kits consist of various types of sticky foam pads like this one to put tension on various panels. So... If you bring it to the dealer, they're just gonna whip out the shake and rattle kit. Here, you can do it yourself in 10 min at home.

Maybe in the future, if enough complaints, they might TSB for a thicker trim?

Tried this out it helps until window is past that part of the frame, the real noise maker is the primary section that runs the length of the window front to rear, shaking the window a little expose that trim to be the f-ing Nosie of all time.

My rattles still gone. If you put a strip of foam the entire length of that corner, the window only clears it the last few inches, by then the window is 90% open.
