So new winters I bought (pmc tire) has TPMs installed - but apparently truck doesn’t recognize them yet and have to be “programmed”.
Anyone had success with any cheap obd TPMs tools to reprogram?
Thanks

Tried that - but these aftermarket TPMs need to be programmed first before they will be recognized apparently.

What brand of TPMS did they install? They should have programmed them for your year, make and model before installing? Without knowing the brand of TPMS there is no "cheap" version to actually PROGRAM the sensors. You would need a tire shop that has a fully unlocked TPMS tool that programs all brands of TPMS.

Chances are something else is going on. Not many tire shops install a generic TPMS without programming them first. Then you have to do a RELEARN once installed.
