I returned mine. Started leaking immediately. And a few other things. Smartcap took it back no problem. I’m going with Snugtop now. I plan on sleeping in the back as wellDo you think rain will get in if the side doors are opened a couple of inches? I'm thinking of this cap for sleeping in.
I don’t know, but there’s a long vent on top that should negate the need.Do you think rain will get in if the side doors are opened a couple of inches? I'm thinking of this cap for sleeping in.
Mine hasn't leaked a drop in 6,000 miles. Did you install it or a dealer? It mounts, as you may know, with very specific torque.Started leaking immediately.
Dealer. Smartcap and I discussed the possibility of it being put together wrong. And offered me the opportunity to take it somewhere else. Also, my cap came this is stuff on the side (see photo). Not sure if it was glue or paint. Smartcap was beyond awesome and took it back without hassle. No doubt in my mind it could’ve been fixed. But as I started looking more into Snugtop I think it’ll better fit with what I want to do.Mine hasn't leaked a drop in 6,000 miles. Did you install it or a dealer? Ouch. Also, my cap came this is stuff on the side (see photo).

Thanks for the idea on how to lift the cap up to put on the truck. Good Job!Ouch.
I put mine together.
I had to shop around for a torque wrench that was up for the job.
