Ya i am really confused . On one side i read people saying that u cant order specific truck from toyota . Toyota basically do allocation and. I have to find the truck i need and which dealership is getting it . On other hand my sales rep tells me that they have ordered my truck to toyota in November and they will get it in march . I suspicious about my dealership

Your dealer can put in a request of what trim and upgrade/packages/accessories

If it fits with what Toyota wants to do, they might make it

but there is no guarantee they will get it fulfilled to the exact specifications

My dealership in Halifax gave me the prices and anticipate a January delivery date. I went with TRD OR premium but I’m debating going TRD OR with just the 14” and JBL infotainment upgrade.

I think the only way you can get the 14" screen is in the premium package. I don't think we Canadians can select individual options...just packages.

No 14 inch screen unless you go to Offroad Premium Auto with 5 ft box

Not sure about the OR in Canada, but I went through all the trim and package info for the TRD Sport models to see what's included starting with the TRD Sport first.

Everything from aluminum pedals and below is from Suffix D packages and it's my understanding that you can't pick items from other packages.

You get these on the Sport and can get accessories only.

The next post below is for the TRD Sport + and everything from Moonroof on down is included in packages.

The third post is for the TRD Sport Premium and everything from Panoramic View Monitor on down is from packages.

I'm looking at the TRD Sport and just wanted to have a better idea of what's included standard and in the packages that are included.

What are softex seats? Are they the leather/cloth hybrid seats? Makes me nervous if so as the only real info my dealer could give me is my truck arriving Feburary has leather cloth seats, which I don't think it's possible to get premium on the 6MT Sport. Not all that keen about paying 8k for upgrades.

Same thing I was told. It's amazing how they know this but have nearly zero knowledge on what they're getting. He was able to tell me the Trim, color and transmission option but the rest is completely unknown

I wondered if the dealer was just being cagey with trim and color details because they wanted flexibility on who to assign the vehicles to. Well, he said they should know more in “December”. Sigh.
