This isnt true. I bought my 23 4k off msrp almost a year ago. The issue is many dealers are scum and many customers are lazy. Point blank.

Fair enough. Still doesn't explain how there's many customers still waiting on their 2024 to come in yet there seems to be a dealership that has lots they're trying to rid of lol. I just can't wrap my head around that part

My customers get special pricing. As with anything else I would shop around for those. It’s not necessary to buy an extended warranty at sale.

How good is your extended warranty pricing?

It’s not that my dealer can not sell them. They sell plenty at msrp and above. They just give me wholesale pricing bc I sell so many, I pass that discount to my customers. Then my dealer gets more allocation and they can offer more options to walk in customers that pay more. Win win for everyone. Lots of dealerships are shortsighted and only look at profit today vs what they can make doing volume, and getting bonuses for that volume from the manufacturer. Selling at invoice is still profitable as there is holdback on these. My tundra and 4Runner prices the dealer is def losing money on, but again it’s about volume.

Absolutely, don't get me wrong I like what you do, and wish you were up in Canada lol. It was more of a shot at Toyota and their allocation system more than anything. I'm sure many of those trucks you got listed matches the description of what some customers are currently waiting for to arrive at their preferred dealer.

All the best and good luck!

How often does your inventory get refreshed? Do you expect this to be about the amount of '24 Tacomas you'll have at a given time?

I'd think it will really ramp up when hybrids/Pro/Trailhunter get in on the mix. I know a lot of people waiting on that.

new allocations every other Thursday. We do a lot of volume so I expect to get plenty of hybrids as well. Initially I’m sure pricing will be high as demand will be, but we typically try to undercut everyone so I should have discounts on average hybrid models almost immediately. Pro/trail hunter I’m sure will have markups until they don’t sell as easily.

I have no long beds and the only manuals are the silver or black sr on my sheet in the first post. People have been asking.
As for premiums only high volume dealers got one each. So I can’t discount that one. It’s a white offrd 53k msrp

Factory options and dealer addons are completely diff things. As I said we add nothing to these and don’t mark up. See those 2 letter codes. They’re called options and that particular truck has many…
PU alone is a $4600 factory option

Would you happen to know a ballpark cost to ship a truck to Florida? So my future self will know what to decide?

I live in Miami. Ship them here all the time for about $1k

Florida doc fee is $1000. My dealer is 464. Toyotacare in the south is $699. It’s free from us. Between that your shipping is covered then some…

plus setf dealers usually add a bunch of crap to their trucks like ppf, cat covers etc.
