For sure. I would do the same. I would not pay $70k for a Tacoma under any circumstances. $5k - $10k markup, no thanks. $60k ish is about my threashold for a stock Trailhunter. Im in Denver area and have a few dealers around that do not charge markups thankfully so hopefully that’s where they fall price wise. Fingers crossed all models pricing will be released on the 28th and we can all stop obsessing (me) and speculating haha.

I will keep my second gen with 221k miles indefinitely before I’d do that.
Exactly.
If I’m paying 70k, I’m going for a full size tundra

Ok, well RR in US "starts" at $55,000 or $75,000 CDN...I would imagine the Taco's will be more expensive in CA as well
Two different sales people from two different dealerships both said the same thing. Around 5K extra, on average, compared to the 23 models. That's expected I guess.

Current range in Canada is $45k at the low end to $64k at the high end for the pro. We don't really get the markups here though, so what you see is usually what you get unless they add dealer accessories, but you can generally place an order with a deposit and get MRSP. The flip side in Canada is you don't often get prices much below MSRP like you sometimes get in the states. I prefer the model up here in Canada to the US, but that is just me.

The pricing may be right, but he's telling us his friend knows a guy who says he works for Toyota, and he is therefore sure it's accurate. Either he's hiding his real source or he is too willing to listen to secondhand gossip.

If true, it's exciting, though. I'd like to see another source with a separate leaker drop the same numbers before I trust it.
Rob's is an idiot. His video are trash n sources are unreliable. Just wanting to cause drama to get more viewers.

I totally agree. Just prior to his “leaked pricing” video, I kept telling the algorithm to stop suggesting his videos. I’m sure I am not alone in saying this, but I think majority of us on this forum know more about the 24’s than he does. He strike me as someone who doesn’t know what to do with his free time and money so he makes videos.

Nothing against him specifically, but I have wondered if he is is retired. He's not that old, but seems to have an awful lot of time on his hands and can afford to buy all these cars and live in a nice house. He's either in a huge amount of debt, or just retired early and has done well for himself. More power to him. Wish I could hang it up!

Purchased my 22 TRD PRO for $60K+w dealer mark-up@5K. With tax/title/doc fee it was mid-60K:-( Yes I was desperate! Luv the Taco though.
With the new setup/design/frame/suspension/info system n price gouging from dealer mark-up, don't be too surprised to see a PRO/TH in the upwards of 70K or higher. We will see Dealers marking their Taco 3-15K. WTF!!!!:-(

sure, and like always there will also be honest dealers selling with no mark up or required accessories.

If you have not already found a dealer at this point then you should really count on 2025 model.
