4th Gen Tacoma Aftermarket Lift Kits and Leveling Kits

Now that the trucks are hitting lots and manufacturers are starting to release products, curious to see what everyone is going with.

Options out for now, I'll update this as more options become available:

I will probably end up with the levelling kit
My sales rep said if they install it will not void factory warranty
Pretty easy looking install but might be worth having dealer do just to not screw up warranty

Ready Lift also has a 1.5 inch front levelling kit available now. Still no info on the Toyota TRD lift kit, what it comes with and how much it will cost. No other real suspension lift options. I can’t go with these spacer lifts or the Westcott preloaded collar lift because I have too much permanent weight in the back with a GFC. And 285/70/17 tires that I want look crammed in the wheel well with no lift :(

I’m assuming you meant 285x70x17? I have 285x70x17 now on my second gen but plan to go 35’s when I get my Trailhunter assuming it’s as easy to fit as I think it will be.

I put the RC front 1.5” leveling kit on mine. Easy to install and looks good. I did have it aligned afterwards to insure it was good

Peak Suspension had a couple different options as well for levelling and suspension kits. I don’t think they’re in stock yet though.

I got below link from a Lift professional, saying that leveling are notorious for putting abnormal angles on your front end and cause premature wear to suspension and drive train.

Kit was around 8-9k. Install was a lot easier on this gen.

I am still waiting for ICON to release rear springs.

Levelling or not ?

That all depends on how the spacers or lifts are installed. Historically, lift spacers push a lot of forces down on the shocks, and in previous generations with the Bilstein shocks having such a thin stem, it could bend or break the lower shock stem.

Our kits are a 2 piece design so that the lift is spread from a small top spacer and a small spring adapter.

There's no doubt that coilovers are a better option, but that's not in everyone's budget unfortunately
