Might be relating 18” on the TRD Sport vs. the 18” on the Limited? Not sure which is which.

The 3rd gen Tundra uses an 18x7 spare which would work perfectly to replace your 17x7 spare. Width doesn't matter too much, the 1/2" won't make a difference and at least with it being an 18" you could put another full size 265/70R18 on it.
The Tundra shares the same smaller hub bore and same 6x5.5" M14 stud bolt pattern as the new Tacoma, so it should work perfectly.

The offset on Tacoma 18x7.5 is +55mm. I don't know what the Tundra spare is but I imagine it's close to that. The Tundra normal wheels I am seeing as +60mm on the forum and ebay listings. Spare is probably +55 or +60. Definitely nothing in either generation is anywhere close to 0mm offset, that would stick way out.

Weird, most of the places selling that spare wheel are calling it 18x7.5. Still haven't found the offset yet. But I think an additional 5mm would probably fit fine, but you'd need to see how close you are to the control arm and such to confirm that.
