So, based on my own conversations and online discussions, I'd like to know what everyone else is hearing as far as when the allocations are released. I've been told beginning and mid-month and read some comments that seem to differ from that. To me, it seems the easiest answer would be "Sometime between the first and last day of the month" because reality seems to support that statement. Could it be different by region?

Your thoughts?

I have given up trying to figure out how Toyota does this. I was sent an allocation build sheet last week which I accepted, I wanted a spray in bed liner but after the dealer checked, said it was too late in the process to add as my truck was scheduled to be built last week. My understanding is that once the vehicle is built, there should automatically be a VIN # assigned (temporary or permanent) and vehicle should show up on the Toyota inventory via Toyota website when I search. Unfortunately I do not see mine yet, which tells me that either my build has been pushed out a few weeks or my dealer is giving me the runaround. Iā€™m going to give it a few more weeks and if I donā€™t see it pop up, I will be asking the dealer for the VIN, if they donā€™t have it, that tells me the truck has not been built yet.

Plus, some are listed as "Sold". If it's not available why is it on the site at all? I was questioning that once a truck is alloted and accepted by a buyer that it may never show up on the Toyota site because, again, it's not available.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the new allocations come out every other Thursday. Not sure where I read that tho.

I talked to my guy today and they finally got a Sport Hybrid allocation. It has everything except it's not a Limited. I'm trying real hard to not just jump on that instead. "Serenty now!!!"
