Agree, nice to see Denver area finally getting some allocations. I would put money in it that they do ADM’s if they aren’t showing the price and especially if they are still available. If not they are already sold and the website just hasn’t updated.

I don’t think I posted this on this thread, but Mountain States got their first one as of a week ago or s. Allocation, not the truck of course (I don’t know when they actually got their allocation since I had texted my salesman). There are now 3 ahead of me, 1 being a long bed so only 2 ahead of me now for short bed. I haven’t lost hope yet that I’ll get it to start building and enjoy in the summer months. Clinging on to hope haha.

I'm not sure. I posted a screenshot about a week ago. They sent the image and I cropped it and posted it. They also had a TRD Pro.
Nearly 70k is a lot for a truck without a markup.

I secured a truck far sooner today, already built and I should have it in 2-3 weeks.

I should add that it is at MSRP, but has a roof rack so that's gonna cost me 1200 bucks. I will pull it and sell it, no big deal.

Just speculation, but from Toyota's inventory tool it looks like Tacoma hybrid models including Trailhunter are losing out to Land Cruiser in terms of part allocations, given the apparently higher numbers of the latter in transit? Perhaps why you early adopters are having to wait?

The LC is coming from Japan and the Taco from Mexico, but if Toyota only has one WW source for one or more of the hybrid drive train components used in these vehicles such as motor/generator, inverter and battery, then the LC for the US market, which only comes as a hybrid drive train, seems likely to get the priority.

My reasoning is based on the following. I did a quick check of inventory (including in transit) at 20 miles and 50 miles from my South Bay Area location - Taco hybrid inventory including Sport, OR, Limited, TH and Pro was 5 and 21 vehicles respectively, LC was 20 and 99+ respectively. Going out to 500 miles and excluding in transit hybrid vehicles shows 35 LC in inventory and 0 Tacomas.

Other reasons? WW shortage of mullet bars for the TH perhaps? 😆

Congrats. Looking forward to some of your detailed YT content.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I just put a deposit down on a TH. It’s black, which probably helped me because I’m one of the few people that prefers black.

Over the past month I’ve talked to probably 15 dealers within 500 miles. All the others said they are waiting until it hits the lot or theirs was already sold or they wouldn’t sell to someone outside their city. This was the only dealer willing to take a deposit from me. And they only did it because I bought a car from them last year.

So far, no buyers remorse!

Haha, I might leave it on for a couple weeks. Its definitely coming off at some point. I might keep it. I’m a little weird about car stuff. Having all the original equipment is cool to me, even if it’s not all attached. But it’s also a pretty big hunk of metal to store…
