I found a dealer with an allocation in Illinois with a 5 ft Trailhunter in Bronze, truck was unspoken for so I put a deposit on it. Estimated to be ready between mid July and early August 😩. I’ll take what I can get, but I really wanted this truck for the summer season.
I fly for free since my wife works for the airlines, and my channel means the sooner I can get one of these trucks the better. So I’m definitely willing to travel for the thing. And it looks like I’ll have to.

That's such a nice benefit to have. Heck in NC the doc fees are $995 and my truck is in OH where it is only $285 at the dealership. I figured that's my airfare. Plus I don't mind a nice road trip.

Here is my truck. Pretty anxious to get it and start adding to it. I'm hoping to go out to Utah next year. Until then I'll play around in the Southeast.

I found it on a FB group called "No Markup Toyota"

Mountain States has told me terribly little. I’ve seriously been talking with them about these trucks for 2 years now, and all along I’ve gotten “as soon as they announced, I’ll call you and get it reserved”, “as soon as the hybrids are announced, we’ll get you taken care of”. Every time is radio silence or emails I can tell they hardly care to answer.

A lady called me from the dealership last week and asked how my experience was, and I told her terrible. Explained the whole thing and got “we’ll keep an eye on your phone, a salesperson will be in contact shortly to get you taken care of.”

Radio silence again. Who knows, maybe they’ll surprise me but I doubt it at this point.

Good looking out, I appreciate the heads up on that! Yeah I had breifly considered just waiting for the 25 at this rate, because that new teal color is going to be pretty cool. But I think I still like Bronze more.

Yeah, same. That teal looks better than any of the colors for '24 IMO. Bronze Oxide is what I'm waiting on too .... but man, the only problem is that Bronze Oxide is gonna look like ass on film. Just like my old man tan LX470 does now.

Decisions decisions....

I don’t really think so, but perhaps I’m wrong. The Bronze has just enough metallic to it to look good. I think a desert tan may not be the best option, but the glossy/metallic bronze could look good. What color tan was your LC? I’m slightly worried now haha.

All the footage I saw from the Hawaii events and otherwise have looked great to my eye anyway.

Placed deposit on a Pro last July.. the more I see those gloss fender flares, the more I think I may go TH lol,, not only for that, but after pricing was released, it just seems like a better choice for what I’m looking to accomplish. I called my dealer Friday to inquire about their TH waitlist,, turns out there isn’t one, and seeing how I’m #1 on the Pro list, they’re giving me pick of the litter on either trim. So as of now, I’m on team TH 5’ Bronze. My dealer has no PIO, no DIO, only “mandatory” window film fees, all at no additional markups. I rented a TRD OR last weekend from the dealer and drove it for 3 days, had a chance to take it everywhere (highway, backroads and off-road),600 miles, loved every minute. I’m no content creator, just a normal dude from TN that’s ready to get this truck out of its cage so that it can prey on the trails that it just hunted.

Well, I hope you're right ... because Bronze Oxide is the only color I like on the 24s.

My LX470 is beige. That awful 90's beige that Toyota and Lexus used on EVERYTHING. Truly one of the worst colors to ever be put on a car (IMO).

I just find that, like just about all shades of brown, it blends in with the surroundings and doesn't 'pop' at all. Especially on thumbnails.

Blues, like your FJ or Rob's wrap on the Tundra, just pop SO much more.

That said, I really like Bronze Oxide as a color (haven't seen it in person though) ... so I hope I'm wrong. I guess the best reference point would be XO's series on the Trailhunter. To me it looked pretty bland in drone shots and such .... but like anything with color, it's all subjective!
