Just put down my deposit yesterday, filled out the form. Apparently what I’m looking for is rather specific but not that commonly desired, so we’ll see when it comes in (orange / TRD sport / 4x4 / upgraded dash). I’m in no rush so I can wait

Long time lurker, first time poster. Got on the list for a Trailhunter in November as the first person, and the dealership got their first allocation in May. Put $1,000 down. add ons include mud flaps, door edge guards, and spray on bedliner. Truck was built on June 3rd, no word from dealer on delivery.

Deposit dropped last week for white Trailhunter in Cookeville, TN. Delivery date last week of June to 2nd week of July. Added to the database.

Long time lurker here as well. Decided to post. Placed a deposit on May 3, 2024 for a 2024 Taco TRD PRO Ice Cap with Red Cock Pit from Visalia Toyota in California. From what I’m seeing in the forums, looks like a few people are actually getting their trucks. Dealer told me in April it would be 3-8 months before they would be able to allocate a 2024TACO TRD PRO. Has anyone heard different or similar information from Toyota dealers?

I was on the waiting list for a TRD Pro allocation, but had a change of heart and put a deposit down on TRD Sport prem hybrid. Wasn’t in a hurry. I just really wanted to have my own mods done with my choices. Something I’ve done with my other two tacos. Automatically bumped me up to the “Build“ phase. People waiting for a TRD Pro in the Phoenix area can thank me. The list just got shorter.

Put in an entry to the submission form. Not sure if this is still maintained, but I saw some june dates in there. Put $500 on a Black TH 6ft bed in Maryland.

Had my truck on order for three months. It arrived at the port on June 8th. Dealer today tells me it is has an estimated arrival date of June 30th!! Is that normal for it to take 22 days to go 200 miles?

also the dealer says they don’t have a permanent vin. Just the temp. Is it not possible to get a permanent vin before delivery?

The VIN is issued when it comes out of the factory. I noticed my truck on the dealer's page on a Sunday, called them on a Monday, and he said their allocations are added to their website as soon as the truck is made.

I just got a confirmation of then vin. That’s a non issue now. Thanks for responding. Still a mother 12 days with out a vehicle is extremely frustrating.

Originally "the manager" said $3000 markup, I said the new MSRP's were already at the top of my budget and I could walk across the street and order a Canyon Denali for $6K less (which is true with my GM Card rewards) AND get exactly what I want on the truck instead of whatever Toyota wants to build for me. Oddly enough that got rid of the dealer markup, and I put down a $500 deposit at Corwin Toyota in Fargo.

Once the new Gen Ranger came out and everybody was able to compare all the new stuff against each other...a vast majority of them said paraphrasing "Ranger and Colorado/Canyon #1 and 1A, Tacoma distant #3".

Because I wasn't a Tacoma guy before I decided to go with the majority of the reviews for the new gen Mid-size trucks and ended up getting a Canyon, it was delivered on Friday. On June 2 I asked for my deposit returned from Toyota....they had....ahem...difficulty getting it back to my card, finally came thru on July 6.

Any update on your truck? Supposedly I am next up on the list for the next Pro to come in at my dealership. I think I am going to hold off, so looking for someone to take my spot.

Just put a deposit down on a Celstial Silver Trailhunter today. It completed construction on 8/10. Hope to have by the end of September. I had started working with a different dealer 3 weeks ago, but they couldn’t find a Trailhunter.
