Softopper / Bestop / Fastop / Flated - Soft Toppers

Looking for a soft topper. The Fastop is the most fully featured as it has the combo of tonneau and soft topper in one.

- Softopper: called, no eta on them for the 2024 Tacoma yet
- Bestop: says their topper will support the 2024 but I have real doubts because the bed HAS changed. As of 4/24, BESTOP engineering has confirmed it will NOT fit and they are working on a new model. Do not buy this from the site they are updating the site to show the current model does not support the 2024 Taco.
- Fastop: They can make one, lead time is 6 weeks currently + shipping times. Radco has the best price, use the coupon code in their email sign-up
- Flated : called, current models don't fit due to the roof spoiler but they expect a compatible model in the fall


Has anyone tried fitting a softopper (current model) or a Bestop topper or any other soft topper to their 2024?

I actually am dropping off my Tacoma on Monday (6/24) at the headquarters (Both Bestop and Softopper are in the same location) so they can prototype the new Softopper - will keep you all posted

Nice! They asked me if I was in the area when I called to help with the prototyping but its just a few thousand miles too far for a casual drive lol. Hope they can get these toppers mocked up quickly.

I actually used to work at Bestop a few years back, set up the new website for all the Bestop companies- Baja, PRP, Softopper...So Bestop was also using the truck for their needs as well.
I am supposed to be getting the truck back tomorrow with the prototype installed and will of course post pictures (unless they as me not to) stay tuned

Hey guys! Just confirming, no at home modding of the gen 3 softopper to retrofit to a 4th gen that you’re aware of? I’m assuming it’s the lip off the roof that interferes?

Nope, it a whole new design. The lip, also the size of the bed against the cab is different. They said there are more little tweaks. But I can confirm they had to make, sew all new panels.

Sorry no, the pics were taken by the Softopper engineers. They take the top off the truck when I pick it up. But will send out a bunch when I get the top

The Softoppers are now available - I had to hold off on photo's until now.
The top fits really well, quiet with no wind noise, flapping. Super easy to take down, fold up or off
