Listen, I agree... I'd rather they fix an issue NOW, while I still have my trade-in, than to take delivery and either wait a month on a part, or worse, be unable to drive it because of a safety issue. I don't want the headache of a loaner or rental...

But I want my truck now, please.

Same. I'm still 3+ weeks until my build date. I don't know if whatever they find on the QC hold will translate to the production line, delaying output. But I prefer it get fixed now. I've been waiting for over a year, I guess I can deal with a few extra weeks...

Bummer. What was the status of yours? Was it in transit as well? What state are you in?

Curious how wide spread it is.

I am getting mine from a dealership in PA. It had an eta of 7/7 - 7/23. It is a bummer, but I would rather Toyota work out whatever it is that is holding them back. I am coming from a 2005 Tacoma Prerunner Off-road, so I am super excited to be getting a new one.

Thanks. Similar boat. 2005 TRD OR to TH. I agree, im just anxious/excited. I have a pretty substamtial build planned and I can’t start it until I have the truck lol so things are in limbo.

Sounds like 77 THs?
Biggs1975 has an allocation in PA that is on QC hold and so do I in KC region, both of which are beyond 500 miles of LA. My guess is all TH's being made right now in a certain status or manufactured in a certain period of time are on hold. Just a guess, but deductive reasoning haha.
Yeah and mine that’s on QC hold is in the Kansas City region (IA specifically), and Biggs1975’s is in PA. Seems like all TH’s within a certain production timeframe are under QC hold at the moment.

What I would like to know is if this is affecting other hybrids. Haven’t heard anyone else mention any. If it’s isolated to the TH it seems likely to be something small since many parts are shared across other models. That is my hope anyway.

I wonder if anyone who has received one has had any issues with theirs? I haven't heard of any issues with the hybrids yet.

I’ve had a hybrid built since late May, it got to the port in LA on June 14th, but haven’t heard anything since from the dealer. Reached out to them today for an update and didn’t hear anything back.. Still shows 7/5-7/18 ETA on SmartPath though. Do Trailhunters on this QC hold show ETA dates on SmarthPath at all?
