Air dam removal -- cabin noise and MPG effect?

For those of you that have removed the air dam, have you experienced an increase in cabin noise? What about effects on MPG? TIA!

No problems on my 3rd Gen. Planning to do the same with my 4th. But I have seen complaints of wind noise post removal. Not sure why the sport would lose MPG, when the rest of the lineup has the same MPG without the air dam. But Westcott says it makes a difference.

Only the Off Road, Pro, and TH have no air dam. The SR, SR5, Sport, Limited, and their hybrid versions have it. And it seems that the Hybrid Off Road has one also, for whatever reason. There is slightly better fuel economy to be had by leaving it installed.

Thanks for that. Shortcut answer for those searching here. You need 8 plugs (part #: 90950-A1021) to fit in the lower control arms. Pretty lame that some trucks are coming with and some are not. $50CAD for the set.
