Dealer told me that Toyota messed up on my TRD Exhaust order

Hey guys, had a pretty uneventful experience with the parts department at a local Toyota store. I originally purchased online the black Trd exhaust system (not tip) during the Independence Day sale 20% off sale and got an additional dealer discount which made my total come out $570 with tax. Seems like a solid deal, anyway this was last Friday and I called in Tuesday to check on my order and they said it should for sure be here by today. I called Thursday and was told Toyota ā€˜messed something upā€™ and that they would have to reorder my part again. Anyone else come across this experience? Iā€™m a little confused and frustrated because my entire experiences with several different Toyota dealers has been lacking from sales, service and now parts.

wont be the first time parts department fucked up and didn't order something. wont be the last, either.

I wish this was surprising but based on my experience it is not.
