anyone missing the 4x4 badge?

I got my blackout overlays for my Limited today, and I don't have a 4x4 badge on the truck, even though I have a 4x4 Limited.

just seems odd, and I just noticed today when sticking the overlays on.

I have the black front badge and black tailgate insert and black 4x4 on lower left of tailgate. It’s really looks good all murdered out.

I noticed the same as well. Wonder if it has to do with the fact that the Hybrid limited is AWD rather than 4x4, and they just figured not to stick the [4x4] badge on the gas only model to simplify their build process.....

With that being said, if anyone needs a blackout overlay for the 4x4 badge, hit me up lol.

I found them on eBay for $38. search for PT948-35243-02

My OR doesn't have a 4x4 badge... Just says Max and Tacoma all over the place! Man even the TRD off road sticker on the bed doesn't say 4x4 which will be getting ripped off once it goes to the shop for ppf.

Only the HYBRID limited is AWD. The non hybrid you can switch. Sorry for the caps lol

Wow I totally lied! Loading up new wheels and fishing poles this morning and I do have a 4x4 badge on the tailgate it's just black and my rig being underground it blends right in lol

Not sure. My original theory was that maybe they reused the part from the 3rd gen, since I'm pretty sure that one came with a 4x4 badge. But I'm not sure if the Toyota emblem was the same size.
