Hood insulation

Does anyone have hood insulation in there trd sport? Seen a YouTube video that an OR had it in there’s just curious

Just picked up our Sport Premium and yes it has it.

I know premiums have it but base off roads do not. I have an upgrade package, but I don't believe I have looked up to see. I don't hear a noise that I would consider to be an issue but it may be because I have insulation.

My sport doesn’t have it wondering it’s something I can order from the dealer

The higher trims have it. The higher trims also have rubber stripping on the front edge of the rear door to reduce wind noise

Yes, I enquired the insulation is almost $500 and the fasteners are sold individually

My quite fresh or recent TRD OR with upgrade does not have that insulation. It's a surprisingly quiet vehicle to operate. The top of the engine is noisy where it sounds like the fuel rail and top injectors more than internal engine clatter.

Within areas or items still planned for spending, I'm not sure I'd put priority on that insulation unless it is a modest price.

My TRD Sport 4x4 with Sport upgrade+ 14" screen and moon roof does NOT have it. Salesman researched it via my VIN and advised that the factory primarily only includes the insulation on Premium models.
It's like $474.00 from Toyota. I spent $41.00 on butylene heat/sound deadening sheets from Amazon and installed in to the underside. Seriously reflects the heat, deadens the vibration and some engine noise.
