Maximum Spare Tire Size?

Hey folks — has anyone measured what the maximum size of wheel/tire is that can be stuffed under the bed as a proper full size spare?

it looks pretty tight back there based on some pics I’ve seen. I’d go measure this myself, but I don’t have physical access to a 24 taco atm. I figure this is good all around, searchable info for everyone to have though.

FYI, I swapped out my stock Limited wheels for Tundra 265/60R20 rims. This tire has an overall diameter of 32.5", 1" larger than stock. I fit the same sized spare/rim underneath the truck with no problems at all. Fits great. I'd say there's probably another 0.5-0.75" of room if needed.

Sweet thx. I’m considering doing true 33” x10” instead of the wider tires most folks seem to be going for so it doesn’t hang down in the spare well as much. Plus I’ve always had a bias toward pizza cutters. Hmmmm. Good to know that should fit. As sick as 35s are I deff don’t need them lol.

Getting closer to taking deliver tho which is exciting! Mid/late October pending any more QC holds

I feel like pretty much anything 33" or under will fit. I'm running a 265/70R18 on an 18x8 steelie and it seems pretty maxed out.
