TRD Pro Hybrid Engine - Oil Pressure Gauge Fluctuation Question

Hello all. I'm not used to seeing my oil pressure gauge fluctuate while driving, but I also have never driven a hybrid before. Best I can tell, when I'm slowing down, things switch over to the hybrid engine, and the oil pressure gauge bottoms out to nothing. A soon as I give it gas, the oil pressure gauge jumps back up to half or a bit more depending on how much gas I give it. It seems anytime it switches over to hybrid, that's when the oil pressure bottoms out to nothing. Is this expected behavior for a hybrid engine?

Makes sense when the gas engine shuts off there would be no oil pressure

this is how it is meant to work. there is an additional oil pump that keeps going to cool the turbo.

Does it also circulate oil to the valve train and internals?

I think the engine would still be rotating given the electric motor is between it and the tranny and is still turning? If the engine is rotating the oil is circulating. I may be wrong
