Not sure, truck is garage stored in AL. Looks like ass. I was cool but this is it.

OP I’ll check mine tomorrow. But appears this has been an issue for 20 years. Also have seen bmw forums with the same issue. I’d maybe just oil it down lightly. I don’t think it’s a unique 2024 toyota Tacoma issue.

I love the truck. I enjoy driving it. Honestly, nothing is really wrong other than the little issues everyone has. I just blew a gasket when I found that yesterday. Truck has <200 miles.

Seems pretty dumb to blow a gasket over a small amount of rust powder on a part of the seat you will never see unless literally pulling the seat apart.

Guess that makes me a dumbass. I feel more like a dumbass for buying a $60k truck with the expectation of quality.
