Rears do not have that restriction.
Not sure I like the way they mount by using brackets around the bumper frame.
If anyone has actually seen the rear set, how thick is the metal?

Finally took my truck on the Interstate (75mph) and, sure enough, the mpg dropped a lot.
295 mi on country highway through the mountains (Show Low AZ to Prescott, then fill up in Chino Valley) got 24.9 mpg.
Back to Show Low by way of Flagstaff. 232 mi (141 on I40 @75mph) 21.7 mpg.

You need the recovery points to connect them to. Those are mounts that bolt to the frame in various places. Examples:

There's a setting in the infotainment system to make the A/C automatically turn on. Most comments I've seen have been asking how to get it to STOP coming on.
I asked NYTOP (https://www.tacoma4g.com/forum/threads/not-your-typical-rock-sliders-by-nytop.4849/) and they said 70# per side. I also recall seeing 160#/set for one of the other makes on their web site. There is also one outfit selling aluminum ones at 31# per side.

A friend of mine has a buddy at a Toyota dealer who told him they are having a lot of trouble with that color (has had multiple trucks needing areas repainted). I think he mentioned the roof as a problem area.
My phone doesn't support wireless charging, but that spot is perfect for holding it while it is charging on a cord. So, I set out to disable the charger. Took pictures in case it will help someone else.
